The study subject is ‘How a burnt area develops in a truffle-ground: a proteomic approach’.The aims are to set up a method to estract proteins from soil and to compare the proteins present inside the burnt area to those present outside the area. This project could help to elucidate which metabolic changes can happen inside and outside the brulè and to connect the genetic diversity and rhizosphere microorganism activities in order to understand deeply the burnt area development. 

Principal investigator (postdoc, “DFG Eigene Stelle”) of the truffle project in Petr Karlovsky’s lab (Uni Göttingen, Germany). Investigating the communication among truffles, bacteria and plants and the causes of volatile variability in truffle fungi
