Workshop on molecular plant-microbe interactions
The PhD Program in Biology and Applied Biotechnologies is organizing a
Workshop on molecular plant-microbe interactions
to be held on May 4-8 2012
Information and preliminary programme can be found here
The workshop will cover areas including:
Beneficial plant-fungus interactions
Plant pathology and crop protection
Evolution and mutualisms
Cell biology of symbiotic interactions
Genetic studies in Rhizobial infection
Host defence in plant-powdery mildew interactions
Plant-fungus-bacteria interactions
Secondary metabolism in Fusarium
Signaling in beneficial and pathogenic interactions
Systems biology and data mining
While the course is open to all PhD students, it is specially designed for second and third year students, who should register through the course page or by sending an email to andrea.genre@unito.it.
