Vi invitiamo a candidarvi per un’occasione formativa fuori dagli schemi che unisce competenze creative e tecniche, necessarie per una divulgazione scientifica efficace.
Il workshop Comunicare la scienza. Pillole di storytelling & filmmaking sarà rivolto a 15 dottorande/i della Scuola di Dottorato dell’Università degli Studi di Torino, di ogni disciplina, selezionate/i sulla base di un bando competitivo con l’obiettivo di fornire a un gruppo quanto più possibile eterogeneo alcuni elementi pratici per l’utilizzo del mezzo video nella comunicazione scientifica.
Le candidature (QUI) sono aperte da ora e fino alle ore 24.00 del 3 aprile 2023.
Le/i dottorande/i selezionate/i parteciperanno gratuitamente a un kick-off meeting – la mattina del 21 aprile - e a tre mezze giornate di formazione specialistica nel mese di maggio, guidate da professionisti esperti nel campo della comunicazione e del filmmaking. Le/i dottorande/i lavoreranno a fianco degli esperti per produrre un breve filmato su un tema scientifico. I video realizzati durante il workshop saranno proiettati in una sezione dedicata del Festival CinemAmbiente 2023!
Il workshop è organizzato nella cornice di FI(na)LMENTE, un progetto che nasce da una proposta del Dottorato in Neuroscienze dell’Università degli Studi di Torino e dell’Associazione InTo Brain, in collaborazione con la Scuola di Dottorato dell’Università degli Studi di Torino e con CinemAmbiente, e che promuove l’utilizzo dei video come mezzo di comunicazione della ricerca scientifica. Maggior sostenitore dell’iniziativa è Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo.

Dear Ph.D. Students,
We invite you to apply for an unconventional training opportunity that combines creative and technical skills, necessary for effective scientific dissemination.
The workshop Communicating Science: Storytelling & filmmaking pills is addressed to 15 Ph.D. students, in any field, of the Doctoral School of the University of Turin, selected on the basis of a call for proposals, with the aim of providing a heterogeneous group with some practical elements for the use of the video.
Applications (HERE) are open from now until April 3, 2023, 24:00.
The selected Ph.D. students will attend, free of charge, a kick-off event (April 21, in the morning) and three half-day professional training sessions in May, led by experienced professionals in the fields of communication and filmmaking. The Ph.D. students will work with experts to produce short videos on scientific topics.
The videos created during the workshop will be shown in a dedicated session of the CinemAmbiente Festival 2023!
The workshop is organised in the framework of FI(na)LMENTE, a project born from a proposal of the PhD in Neuroscience of the University of Turin and the InTo Brain Association, in collaboration with the Doctoral School of the University of Turin and with CinemAmbiente, promoting the use of videos as a means to communicate scientific research. The main funder of the initiative is Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo.
