LMB MPIB Graduate Life Sciences Symposium, Cambridge UK, 6-8 July 2022

Published: Wednesday, April 20, 2022

Dear all,

We are writing from Cambridge, from the UKRI MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology (LMB). Every year the LMB grad student association hosts a global student-organised symposium to showcase cutting-edge research from across the Life Sciences. This year, it is co-hosted with Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry (MPIB) and it will take place July 6-8 2022 at the LMB (in Cambridge, UK).

This symposium is a broad spectrum focus across bioscience research, and open to all, especially aimed at early career researchers - for this reason we have several sessions of student talks, a three minute thesis competition and events around science policy (and more!). The event will run mainly in person, with virtual attendance possible for talks (live streamed, not recorded).

The deadline for early in person registration is the 15th of May. Please submit abstracts by the 15th of May if you would like to participate in one of the student sessions (poster session, student talks, 3 Minute Thesis competition). Other types of registration will be available until the 15th of June.

More information on speakers, outreach and other events can be found on our website:

And you can register from today, here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/lmb-mpib-phd-symposium-2022-tickets-311771054617

Hoping to see many of you this summer!
