Course objectives
The overall objectives of this course are to enhance the knowledge of doctoral students on molecular and genomic approaches in order to contribute significantly to their current research and to improve their competitiveness in the post-doctoral jobs market through the acquisition of multidisciplinary approaches.

The course will be divided into 5 modules for a total of 16 hours.
- "An update on omics techniques applied to nucleic acids", 2 hours, Giacomo Donati;
- “Molecular detection of microorganisms: the experience gained on plant pathogen monitoring”, 2 hours, Davide Spadaro;
- “DNA-based methods for community ecology”, 4 hours, Diego Fontaneto;
- "Environmental genomics and environmental DNA for ecosystem biomonitoring”, 4 hours, Roland Marmeisse.
